How do you (we are really asking) pretend like you are really over someone and detangle your life from theirs all while being the best of hosts? Two ex’s throw a dinner party that may be entirely made up but definitely begs the following questions: do we really know each other or are we just scared of being alone? How can you make closure as tidy as possible? Why can’t we just call it quits and let it go? 

Dinner uses rigorous movement, nightmare imagined run-ins, sweet tender moments, and pure anarchy to demonstrate the intricacies of queer love, massive life transitions, and the discomfort of being truly very lonely.
